2012 Florida Attorney Workforce Infestation Rate

As we speak (ca. April 2012) there are approximately 63,000 licensed attorneys in Florida. By comparison, there are only about 47,000 practicing physicians. Put simply, there are at least 16,000 more lawyers than doctors.

The infestation of lawyers in Florida reminds one of the damage the folks there suffer from in regards to the invasion of imported Boa Constrictors.

The citizens of Florida continue to suffer from an out of control birthrate among attorneys, which is among the highest in the developed world. Clearly, a reliable birth control device needs to be implemented to prevent unnecessary future births.

Let’s compare Florida’s Attorney Workforce Infestation Rate (AWIR) verses several other states as set forth in the textbox below. FYI: workforce population = Private non-farm employment per the U.S. Census Bureau.
