Attorney Martin Regan Jr. of New Orleans, LA; ethical ogre

The state of Louisiana presented Matthew v. Shelton with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Marty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to supervise office staff
  • Ordered non-lawyer to perform acts that violated disciplinary rules
  • Assisted non-lawyer in illegal practice of law
  • Assisted another in violating Rules of Professional Conduct
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Marty!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Marty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Marty fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.reganlaw.net. Apparently, Marty decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. April 2020) Marty practices with Regan Law PLC at 2125 Saint Charles Avenue in New Orleans, Louisiana.
