Attorney Keelus Miles of Baton Rouge, LA; thieving slacker

The state of Louisiana presented Keelus Renardo Miles with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from Tulane University School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Keelus guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Charged an unreasonable fee (cheater)
  • Failed to refund unearned fee (thief)
  • Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Keelus by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2020) Keelus practices with The Miles Law Firm LLC at 251 Florida Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
