The state of California presented Barret Adin Slome with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Georgetown University School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Barret guilty of the following misconduct.

Barret’s 5^th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• LAPD responded to call regarding a home invasion robbery and shooting incident at Barret’s home
• Barret was shot six times during the robbery and was hospitalized for two months
• The Gangs and Narcotics Division (GND) detectives met with detectives from the LAPD at Barret’s home
• When LAPD and GND detectives entered Barret’s home they found 350 pounds of marijuana, a semi-automatic rifle and $19,429 in cash
• Was engaged in the unlicensed and illegal commercial sale of cannabis
• Charged with unlawful possession of cannabis for purpose of sale, a misdemeanor
• Charged with willfully and unlawfully importing cannabis into the state, to sell, furnish, administer, or give away, a misdemeanor
• Pled no contest (guilty in effect) to violating of LA Municipal Zoning Code and ordered to pay $4,349.00 in fees and fines

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
