Attorney Melvin Fink of Ludlow, VT; cheater, serial offender

The state of Vermont presented Melvin D. Fink with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from New England Law School.

The Vermont Bar Court found Melvin guilty of the following misconduct.

• Charged his client ab excessive fee (cheater)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Vermont Supreme Court punished Melvin by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

• Failed to reduce contingent fee agreement to writing
• Attempted to charge an unreasonable fee (cheater)

• Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of his conduct
• Victim of misconduct was vulnerable
• Knowingly and negligently violated duty owed to the legal profession
