Attorney Matthew Callister of Las Vegas, NV; cheating loser

The state of Nevada presented Matthew Quayle Callister with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from University of San Diego School of Law.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Matty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Focused on end game rather than on individual client interests
• Failed to listen to goals of foreclosure/loan modification clients
• Failed to adequately communicate strategy with clients re: loan modification matters
• Took on cases with little likelihood of success
• Failed to account to each client that he had in fact earned the $3,000 to $5,000 he charged each client in class action cases
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to take client matter of court calendar resulting in client being assessed opposing parties’ legal fees
• Failed to communicate with client
• Assisted nonlawyer in the illegal practice of law
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Charged and/or collected a clearly excessive fee (cheater)
• Failed to safeguard client property
• Fee agreements violated the Rules of Professional Conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Matty fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.callisterlaw.com. Apparently, Matty decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. March 2020), Matty practices with Callister & Associates at 330 East Charleston Blvd in Las Vegas, Nevada.
