Attorney Anthony Donato of Greensboro, NC; ethical troll

The state of North Carolina presented Anthony P. Donato with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from Capitol University School of Law in Columbus, Ohio.

FYI: Capitol University School of Law is ranked as the 161^st best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

• Tony’s staff followed altered wiring instructions submitted by a fraudster, resulting in the fraudster’s theft of entrusted funds
• While representing another client, Tony again did not properly supervise his staff, and as a result, his staff again followed altered wiring instructions submitted by a fraudster, again resulting in the fraudster’s theft of entrusted funds

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Tony fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.anthonydonatolaw.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.
