Attorney David Grantham of Richardson, TX; thieving loser

The state of Texas presented David Shane Grantham with a law license in 2013 after he graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) School of Law.

FYI: St. Mary’s is ranked as the 167^th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The 219th District Court of Collin County found Davey guilty of the following misconduct, all of which related to a client that paid him an upfront fee of $7,000 to represent him in a legal matter.

• Accepted or continued employment in a legal matter he knew or should have known that he lacked competence to purse on client’s behalf (moron)
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client’s interests upon termination
• Failed to allow client time to employ another attorney
• Failed to surrender papers and property which client was entitled to receive
• Failed to refund any advance payments of fees he had not earned (thief)
• Ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution to client (victim)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Davey fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.granthamlawgroup.com. Apparently, He chose to conceal this relevant information for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.
