Attorney Adrian Chavez of Odessa, TX; serial offender

The state of Texas presented Adrian Antonio Chavez with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law.

The District 15 Grievance Committee found Adrian guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Adrian!)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Adrian’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received one 6-month and two stayed 1-year suspensions of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Adrian by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 18-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Adrian.

As we speak (ca. March 2020), Adrian practices at 121 East 4th Street in Odessa, Texas.
