Attorney Jeanne Singer of Hagerstown, MD; ethical dwarf

The state of Maryland presented Jeanne Forrester Singer with a law license in 1993 after she graduated from Georgetown University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Jeanne guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with the executor of her deceased client in winding up the deceased client’s estate
  • Failed to ensure conduct of office employee whom she had direct supervisory authority was compatible with her professional obligations

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Jeanne by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Jeanne fails to mention the above misconduct on her self-serving website at www.jsingerlaw.com.  Apparently, she chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2020) Jeanne practices with the Law Office of Jeanne F. Singer at 864 Jefferson Blvd in Hagerstown, Maryland.
