Attorney Steven Yarmy of Las Vegas; ethical troll

The state of Nevada presented Steven Yarmy with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

FYI: Thomas Jefferson is ranked as the 169th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Collected collecting attorney fees for a bankruptcy matter without first getting authority from the bankruptcy court and without demonstrating that he had
  • earned those fees
  • Failed to properly maintain his trust account
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to make payments to clients’ creditors

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Jeremy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 18-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Stevie.

As we speak (ca. October 2020), Stevie practices at 7464 West Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas, Nevada.
