Attorney Ronald E. Drury of Greenwood, IN; intimidator, loser

The state of Indiana presented Ronald Eugene Drury with a law license in 1975.

At one time Ronald was a judge on the Boone County Circuit Court. During his time on the bench, the Judicial Commission found Ronnie guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Solicited and accepted a $2,000 loan from an attorney
  2. Failed to disclose the $2,000 loan to other parties in cases involving the attorney
  3. Failed to report the loan on his annual statement of economic interest
  4. Falsely represented on his statement of economic interest that the source of a loan was from one of his girlfriends
  5. Failed to report loans from one of his girlfriends and her mother
  6. Solicited a large loan from his court reporter
  7. Intimidated and retaliated against his ex-girlfriend and her mother for cooperating with the Commission’s investigation
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Indiana Supreme Court ordered that Ronnie be removed from the bench.

Because Judicial Misfits are held to a lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Ronnie's law license was never suspended or revoked.

As we speak (ca. April 2012) Ronald continues to practice law in the Greenwood area.
