Attorney Roger Rathbun of Plantation, FL; bullying loser

The state of Florida presented Roger S. Rathbun with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Law.

FYI: Nova Southeastern is ranked as the 166th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Roger guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Sent multiple taunting and harassing e-mails to opposing counsel and another co-counsel while ethics complaint was pending
  • Retaliatory e-mails were sent over a period of weeks to intimidate and for the purpose of interfering in the ethics investigation
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Roger!)
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Engaged in bad faith obstruction of the disciplinary proceeding by intentionally failing to comply with rules or orders of the disciplinary agency (Screw you, said Roger!)
  • Present, participated in presenting, or threatened to present criminal charges solely to obtain an advantage in a civil matter
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Hank by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license and was assessed $1,553.90 in costs.

As one would suspect, Hank fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.ferrogourleylaw.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2020), Hank practices with Ferro and Gourley PA at 108 North Magnolia Avenue in Ocala, Florida.
