The state of Illinois presented Mitchell Fenton Asher with a law license in 1967 after she graduated from Northwestern University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Commission found Mitch guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Improperly delegated client matter to another attorney
• Neglected a client’s legal matter
• Failed to respond to client information requests
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to provide client with written contingent fee agreement
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Mitch by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
