Attorney David Jarvis of Novi, MI; ethical troll

The state of Michigan presented David H. Jarvis with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law. 

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #68 found Davey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in misconduct while representing Delaney Equity Group LLC during an inquiry by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the
• representation
• Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
