Attorney Douglas Nepp of Minneapolis; ethical leprechaun

The state of Minnesota presented Douglas E. Nepp with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Hamline University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Negligently misappropriated [stole] client funds
  • Failed to maintain all required trust account books and records
  • Negligence led to trust account shortages

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Doug fails to mention the above misconduct on his self-serving website at www.nepphackert.com.   Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2020), Doug practices with the Nepp & Hackert Law Firm at One West Lake Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
