Attorney Keith Rubenstein of Trumbull, CT; ethical troll

The state of Connecticut provided Keith A. Rubenstein with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Keith guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file temporary support motion on client’s behalf
• Failed to take any formal steps toward obtaining a court order to establish regular child support payments
• Failed to make a formal attempt to obtain an order relating to the child support arrearage
• Failed to respond to numerous calls from opposing counsel re: custody matter
• Failed to comply with agreement to refund fees to client
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to ever pursue child support arrearages on client’s behalf
• Failed to inform client of his "strategy" regarding her child support and arrearage issues
• Failed to discuss child support and arrearage strategy with his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Keith by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. February 2020) Keith practices at 799 Silver Lane in Trumbull, Connecticut.
