Washington’s 2018: Attorney Ivory Soap Purity Ratings = 99.8%

Ivory Soap advertises a purity rating of 99.4%. In the Washington legal system, there are 32,297 attorneys practicing throughout the state. For the year 2018, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court handed out the following complimentary sanctions against seventy-two (72) attorneys for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

• 19 = number of disbarments
• 28 = number of suspensions
• 14 = number of reprimands
• 8 = number of resignations in lieu of discipline
• 3 = number of admonitions

This laughable finding by the Washington Supreme Court means that Washington’s 99.4% Ivory Soap Purity rating for 2018 is preposterous in that it indicates the near impossibility of finding a dishonest or incompetent attorney.

This would mean that if all 32,297 attorneys attended a Washington State University football game at the Joe Albi Stadium with a seating capacity of 28,646, it’d be nearly impossible to locate the 72 unethical and/or incompetent attorneys even if they raised their hands in unison.

And lastly, Washingtonians have the justices sitting on the Washington Supreme Court to thank for taking affirmative and appropriate steps to protect you and yours from unethical and/or incompetent attorneys.
