Attorney Timothy Cairns of Wilmington, DE; convicted drunk

The state of Delaware provided Timothy P. Cairns with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from William & Mary University School of Law.

The Delaware Supreme court found Timmy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Committed a criminal act that reflects adversely on the lawyer's honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer in other respects
  • Fell asleep while operating his motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, crossed the roadway dividing line and struck an oncoming vehicle, injuring the driver of that vehicle
  • Convicted of driving under the influence

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Delaware Supreme Court punished Timmy by gifting him with a complimentary 21-month suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, Timmy and his firm fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.pszlaw.com. Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2020) Timmy practices with Pachulski Stang Ziehl Jones at 919 North Market Street in Wilmington, Delaware.
