Attorney Norman Watts of Woodstock, VT; check bouncing loser

The state of Vermont presented Norman E. Watts with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the Vermont School of Law.

The Vermont Bar Court found Norm guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Wrote one or more checks on insufficient funds account (rubber)
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to comply with all trust account rules
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Improperly used funds of one client to carry out the business of one or more clients

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Norm by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As one would suspect, Norm fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.wattslawvt.com. Apparently, Norm decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that it would not limit their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2020) Norm practices with the Watts Law Firm PC at 19 Central Street in Woodstock, Vermont.
