Attorney Alfonzo Soliz, Jr. of San Antonio; equal opportunity thief 
The state of Texas presented Alfonzo Soliz, Jr. with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.
The District 15-C Grievance Committee found Alfonzo guilty of the following misconduct.
While employed by his former law firm, Alfonzo the Thief submitted false expense reimbursement requests to the law firm and was reimbursed to the tune of $58,630.95. Alfonzo’s expense claims included sham/fabricated bills for hotels, meals, and mileage expenses that he never incurred.
Not satisfied screwing the members of his law firm for non-existent travel expenses, Alfonzo also submitted false/fabricated billing records for time he claimed to have spent on client matters, when in fact he never actually performed the work.
This only proves that Alfonzo is an “equal opportunity thief” in that he’ll screw an associate or partner just as quickly as he’ll screw a client. What a guy!
If Alonzo was a sitting judge in Ohio and/or elsewhere, and he billed for travel expenses and for wages for hours he never worked, he would never have been disciplined. My advice to Alonzo is to obtain a judgeship in Texas if you’re inclined to do a little more stealing.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Alfonzo by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. June 2012) Alfonzo continues to practice law with Clark Miller & Campbell at 300 Convent in San Antonio, Texas as an in-house corporate attorney.
