Attorney Nevada Tuggle of Lawrenceville, GA; moronic slacker

The state of Georgia presented Nevada Michael Tuggle with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Law.

FYI: Nova Southeastern is ranked as the 166th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Georgia State Bar found Nevada guilty of the following misconduct.

• Charged $1,000 for claimed fees to client’s charge card without sending he an invoice or other billing documentation to show the work that he did to earn the charge
• Failed to respond to client’s request for update in her case
• Failed to inform client he filed an answer late or that she was at risk for default judgement due to said failure
• Failed to perform any additional work on client’s case
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Failed to respond to opposing party’s counsel regarding overdue discovery responses
• Failed to notify client as to court’s scheduling order
• Failed to advise client that opposing counsel filed motion for default judgment in her case
• Failed to promptly return client file to client upon being terminated
• Failed to ace with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Negligence in allowing default against client resulted in judge of $815,460.23 against the client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Nevada by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As one would suspect, Nevada fails to mention the above misconduct on his self-serving website at www.tuggle-law.com. Apparently, Nevada chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so he wouldn’t limit his future victim pool.
