Attorney David Jonathan Chatmon of Houston; ethical troll

The state of Texas presented Jonathan Lee Chatmon with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from the Thomas Cooley University School of Law.

FYI:  Cooley is ranked as the worst or one of the worst law schools in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools. Proof of such a ranking is the fact that Donald Trump’s former attorney and fixer was none other than convicted felon Michael Cohen.

The District 4 Grievance Committee found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep his clients reasonably informed about the status of their case
• Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of settlement funds
• Failed to advise client medical providers of receipt of funds relative to client medical bills
• Failed to promptly deliver settlement funds to client and/or her medical providers

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
