Attorney Monica Arriaga of San Antonio, TX; ethical gremlin

The state of Texas presented Monica Garza Arriaga with a law license in 2008 after she graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law.

The District 1 Grievance Committee found Monica guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Neglected a client legal matter
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit a client to make informed decisions

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Monica by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Monica.

As one would suspect, Monica  and her firm fail to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.thelockelawgroup.com. Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. December 2019), Monica practices with The Locke Law Group PLLC at 1008 South Alamo Street in San Antonio, Texas.
