Judge Elizabeth Wolfe of New Orleans; Judge Roy Bean Wannabee  

The state of Louisiana provided Elizabeth Wolfe with a law license in 1985 after she graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Law.

It should be noted that Liz has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the twenty-nine (29) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater area was about to offer Liz a good paying job.

FYI: Judge Roy Bean was an infamous Justice of the Peace and saloon owner in Texas who called himself the "The Law West of the Pecos." Roy was also affectionately referred to as the Hanging Judge.

In one matter, Scott Lemoine went online to criticize the handling of a legal matter that involved Judge Wolfe’s stepdaughter. For engaging in this type of free speech, Mr. Lemoine was arrested, charged with cyberstalking and thrown in jail.

Subsequently, the sham criminal charges against Mr. Lemoine were dismissed. The dismissal led a federal judge to find what it called “substantial circumstantial evidence” that Judge Wolfe had used her influence to have Mr. Lemoine arrested, jailed and to keep him locked up.

It was obvious that the State of Louisiana found Mr. Lemoine’s arrest unwarranted when they agreed to pay him $100,000 in taxpayer funds to settle a lawsuit over the matter.

As one would suspect, the comedians siting on the Louisiana Judicial Campaign Oversight Committee never sought to file ethics charges against Judge Wolfe despite the findings of her misconduct by a federal judge.

As we speak (ca. December 2019), Liz continues to sit as a District Court Judge in New Orleans, Louisiana.
