Attorney Donald Green of Roxbury, MA; ethical gnome

The state of Massachusetts presented Donald E. Green with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the Northeastern University School of Law.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Donnie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improperly maintained surplus client funds in her IOLTA account
  • Failed to keep individual client ledgers with a list of every transaction and running balance
  • Failed to keep a ledger for bank fees and charges with a list of every transaction and running balance
  • Failed to perform a three-way reconciliation of trust account
  • to keep an account
  • Failed to maintain a ledger with a client identifier after every transaction and list of every transaction and running balance
  • IOLTA account was not properly reconciled every sixty days
  • Check register was not in chronological order with client identifiers

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Donnie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2020) Donnie practices with the Law Office of Donald E. Green at 2235 Washington Street in Roxbury, Massachusetts.
