Attorney Jon Swanson of West Des Moines, IA; tax scofflaw

The state of Iowa presented Jon Karl Swanson with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Iowa School of Law.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2020), Johnny practices at 3737 Woodland Avenue in West Des Moines, Iowa.
