Attorney Gregory Port of Columbus, OH; ethical troll  

The state of Ohio presented Gregory Darwin Port with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Capitol University School of Law in Columbus.

FYI: Capitol University School of Law is ranked as the 161^st best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Greg guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to advise client of receipt of additional funds for sale of client’s tavern
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Failed to render appropriate accounts to clients
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Neglected an entrusted legal matter
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to promptly inform client of receipt of client funds
• Failed to maintain complete records of client funds
• Failed to promptly refund funds to which client was entitled
• Failed to advise client that he carried insufficient malpractice insurance
• Failed to carry out contract for employment

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Greg by gifting him with a complimentary 7-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2019) Greg practices with Gregory Port Co. LPA at 1335 Dublin Road in Columbus, Ohio.
