The state of Ohio presented Clyde Bennett II with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law.

 

FYI: University of Dayton School of Law is ranked as the 171st best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

 

The Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Clyde guilty of the following misconduct.

 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Clyde by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

 

Clyde’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Pled guilty to avoiding federal reporting requirements for transfers in excess of $10,000, a felony
  • Sentenced to 24 months in prison and fined $4,000
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • During five-month period, Clyde illegally structed $124,300 with various financial institutions around Cincinnati for the express purpose of evading federal reporting requirements

Clyde’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Charged a fee denominated as “earned upon receipt,” nonrefundable,” or in similar terms w/o advising client in writing that the client may be entitled to a refund of al or part of the fee if Clyde did not compete the representation
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation

As we speak (ca. November 2019) Clyde practices at 119 East Court Street in Cincinnati, Ohio.
