The state of New York presented Steven Jeffrey Kwestel with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the Brooklyn School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly supervise office bookkeeper who converted [stole] client funds from an attorney escrow account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Standards Committee punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.
