Attorney Douglas Van Der Aa of Byron Center, MI; drunken convict

The state of Michigan presented Douglas J. Van Der Aa with a law license in 1985 after she graduated from the University of Illinois School of Law. 

The Kent County Hearing Panel #1 found Doug guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Convicted of driving under the influence (DUI)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and was assessed costs of $757.24

As we speak (ca. February 2020), Doug practices at 8667 Woodhaven Drive SW in Byron Center, Michigan.
