Attorney Rebecca Filiatraut of Southfield, MI; scamming loser

The state of Michigan presented Rebecca H. Filiatraut with a law license in 1994 after she graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law.

FYI: The University Detroit is ranked as the 164th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #72 found Becky guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Committed acts of professional misconduct when she unlawfully attempted to obstruct another party's access to evidence during the discovery period in the matter titled Tera Pearsall v Arnulfo Camcho, et al. in Monroe County Circuit Court
  • Counseled or assisted another person to unlawfully obstruct another party's access to evidence; and/or unlawfully alter, destroy, or conceal a document or other material having potential evidentiary value
  • Failed to make reasonably diligent efforts to comply with a legally proper discovery request by an opposing party
  • Knowingly assisted or induced another to violate or attempt to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Becky by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

Additionally, Becky was assessed costs of $757.75.

As we speak (ca. February 2020), Becky practices with the Law Offices of Lee Steinberg PC at 29777 Telegraph Road in Southfield, Michigan.
