Judge Bradley Jacobs of Jeffersonville, IN; bullying drunk

The state of Indiana provided Bradley Jacobs with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Indiana University School of Law.

The Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications filed the following misconduct charges against Bradley, all of which involved bar-hopping fight that ended outside a downtown Indianapolis fast-food restaurant.

  • Failed to act in a manner that promotes public confidence in the judiciary
  • Engaged in extrajudicial conduct that undermined a judge’s integrity
  • Appeared in public in an intoxicated state just outside the White Castle in Indianapolis
  • Behaved in an injudicious manner that reflected poorly on the judiciary

Bradley’s misconduct involved him, and two other judges walking to The Red Garter Gentleman’s Club and attempted to go in, but the club was already closed. The Red Garter’s advertisements as set forth below are obviously made as an inducement for misbehaving judges.

  • “Four stages of lovely entertainers await you on our spacious club floor.”
  • “Two full-service bars are always stocked for your drinking pleasure.”
  • “Preferred Seating with available Bottle Service for discerning guests & their friends is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • “A VIP room, which houses its own private stage, is also available for individual 30-minute dances with the entertainer of your choice.”

The Red Garter’s Club Policies state:

  • “Guests must be 21 or over to enter.”
  • “Shirts & excessive jewelry must be tucked in.”
  • “Pants must be pulled up.” (Apparently, keeping one’s pants pulled up is a problem with Red Garter’s esteemed guests)

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Bradley by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court.

As we speak (ca. October 2019), Bradley continues to sit as a Clark County Superior Court judge in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
