Attorney Troy Stewart of Glendale, CA; deadbeat, serial offender

The state of California presented Troy Alvord Stewart with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law.  

The California State Bar Court found Troy guilty of the following misconduct.

Troy’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to pay mandatory annual State Bar Fee

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Troy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

Troy’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to pay mandatory annual State Bar Fee
• Failed to comply with Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirements

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Troy by gifting him with a complimentary 4-year suspension of his law license.

Troy’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Exhibited indifference toward rectification or atonement for the consequences of his misconduct
• Failed to comply with court order to pay sanctions of $18,520 (Up yours, said Troy!)
• Failed in his duty to report in writing to the State Bar that the court imposed $18,520 in sanctions against him

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Troy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
