Maryland's 2018 Attorney Ivory Soap Purity Rating = 99.8% 

Ivory Soap advertises a purity rating of 99.44%. In the Maryland legal system, there are 38,800 attorneys practicing throughout the state. For the year 2018, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court handed out the following complimentary sanctions against sixty-two (62) attorneys for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

• 24 = number of disbarments
• 22 = number of suspensions
• 15 = number of reprimands
• 1 = number of resignations as discipline

This laughable finding by the Maryland Supreme Court means that Maryland has a 99.8% Ivory Soap Purity rating for 2018 is preposterous in that it indicates the near impossibility of finding a dishonest or incompetent attorney.

This would mean that if all 8,218 attorneys attended a Navy College football game at the U.S. Naval Academy Football Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland, with a seating capacity of 34,000, it’d be nearly impossible to locate the seventy-three (73) unethical and/or incompetent attorneys even if they raised their hands in unison.
