Maine’s 2018 Attorney Ivory Soap Purity Rating = 99.9%

Ivory Soap advertises a purity rating of 99.44%. In the Maine legal system, there are 3,940 attorneys practicing throughout the state. For the year 2018, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Grievance Commission handed out the following complimentary sanctions against five (5) attorneys for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

• 1 = number of disbarments
• 3 = number of suspensions

This laughable finding by the Maine Grievance Commission means that Maine has a 99.9% Ivory Soap Purity rating for 2018 is preposterous in that it indicates the near impossibility of finding a dishonest or incompetent attorney.

This would mean that if all 4,236 attorneys attended a hockey game at the Harold Alfond Sports Arena in Orono, Maine, with a seating capacity of 5,641, it’d be nearly impossible to locate the 4 unethical and/or incompetent attorneys even if they raised their hands in unison.
