Attorney Matthew Noel of Clinton, IA; thieving loser, repeater

The state of Iowa presented Matthew L. Noel with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from the John Marshall School of Law in Chicago.

FYIJohn Marshall is ranked as the 166th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Matty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Claimed duplicate mileages and fees for family team meetings he did not attend
  • Submitted shame mileage claims of 35,328 miles

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective February 2019.

As one would suspect, Matty fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.thenoelllawfirm. Apparently, he felt it necessary to conceal said relevant information from prospective clients in order to not limit his and his firm’s future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. February 2020), Matty will resume his so-called practice of law in January 2020 with The Noel Law Firm at 1320 11th Street in Clinton, Iowa.
