Attorney Mark Chaban of Plymouth, MI; lying loser

The state of Michigan presented Mark A. Chaban with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Michigan State University School of Law.

The Tri- County Hearing Panel #1 found Mark guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Committed professional misconduct while representing the client-tenant in a landlord-tenant matter
  • Brought or defended a proceeding, or asserted or controverted an issue therein, without a basis for doing so that was not frivolous
  • Failed to make reasonable efforts to expedite client litigation
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact or law to a third person

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

Additionally, Mark was ordered to pay restitution of $30,973.75 and assessed costs of $3,522.62.

As we speak (ca. February 2020), Mark practices with Wayne County Law at 199 North Main Street in Plymouth, Michigan.
