Judge Jeannine Barr of Sarita, TX; moronic loser

The state of Texas provided Jeannine Barr with a law license in 1985 after she graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Law.

FYI: Jeannine has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past thirty-four (34) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the great Kenedy County area was about to offer Jeannine a good paying job.

The Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct found Judge Barr guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with the law re: bail bond practices
  • Failed to maintain competence in the law (moron)
  • Violated hearing officers’ authority under Texas law
  • Instructions on bail bond counted as willful and persistent conduct, which wasn’t consistent with Jeannine’s duties as a judge
  • Conduct cast public discredit on the judiciary
  • Failed to give defendants time to consult with lawyers regarding bail
  • Failed to grant bail within 24 hours of arrest, when allowed by law

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Judge Barr by gifting her with a complimentary public reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2019), Jeannine continues to sit as a Kenedy County Judge in Sarita, Texas.
