Justice K.V. Mahendra Boopathi of India: ethical goblin

The Law Society presented Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque with a law license in 1985 he graduated from Allahabad University School of Law.

The administrative committee of the Madras High Court found K.V. guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Abused an advocate over cellphone with filthy and unparliamentary language
  • Intimidated advocate while drunk
  • Had conversation with an accused which was not expected from a judicial officer and against all cannons of ethics.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Madras High Court ordered that K.V. be removed from his judicial position.

As we speak (ca. September 2019), K.V. is practicing his brand of law in the greater Madras area.
