The Law Society presented Nurgus Malik with a law license in 2009.

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal found Nurgus guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Submitted numerous spurious (frivolous) immigration applications
  • Brought claims which were an abuse of process of the court
  • Caused harm to vulnerable clients
  • Unfairly raised clients’ expectations in obtaining indefinite leave to remain in England
  • Misconduct detrimental to the public purse, with resources being diverted away from genuine claims
  • Pursued course of conduct that undermined the operation of the immigration system
