Judge Jonathan Bailey of Denton, TX; ethical goblin

The Texas provided Jonathan Bailey with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law.

The Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct found Lilia guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to treat father custody case with patience, dignity and courtesy
  • Improperly characterized father’s trial testimony as “ridiculous” and “Crap”
  • Threatened father with prosecution for perjury re: custody case trial testimony
  • Failed to act as impartial fact finder and began acting as an advocate for termination of the father’s visitation rights
  • Coerced child protective services into seeking termination of father’s visitation rights further evidencing his bias against the father
  • Knowingly allowed time to pass prior to signing an order thereby denying litigant statutory right to file a motion for redress (due process)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

And lastly, it seems as though Johnny holds the legal opinion that “due” process is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the a.m.

As we speak (ca. September 2019), Johnny continues to sit as a 431st District Court Judge in Denton, Texas.
