Attorney M. Robert Mackinnon of Alberta, CAN; ethical troll

The Law Society of Alberta presented M. Robert Mackinnon with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from the University of Alberta School of Law.

The Alberta Law Society Disciplinary Counsel found Bobby guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide conscientious service to his clients
• Assisted his client in pursuit of an improper purpose
• Breached trust conditions

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license and assessed costs of $51,387.25.

As one would suspect, Bobby fails to mention the alleged misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.mandmlaw.ca. Apparenlty, Bobby and his firm decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for fear it would limit his future victim pool.
