Attorney Austin Nguyen of Alberta, CAN; potty mouth, repeat offender

The Law Society of Alberta presented Austin Nguyen with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Alberta School of Law.

The Alberta Law Society Disciplinary Counsel found Telmo guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Austin’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Sent correspondence that was abusive, offensive or otherwise inconsistent with the proper tone of a professional communication with a lawyer

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Austin by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed and a fine of $1,000.00.

Austin’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Communicated with his client in a manner that was offensive
• Failed to be candid with Law Society (Screw you, said Austin!)
• Improperly filed a Notice of Change of Representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Austin by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand, a fine of $18,000.00 and assessed and assessed costs of $8,130.45.
