Attorney Matthew Rose of Denville, NJ; ethical gremlin

The state of New Jersey presented Matthew Thomas Rose with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Matty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to file complaint in custody and support matter on client’s behalf

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Matty by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2019), Matty practices in Denville, New Jersey.
