Attorney John Maziarz of Trenton, NJ; ethical goblin

The state of New Jersey presented John E. Maziarz with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law. Johnny also received a license to practice in Pennsylvania in 1972.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Violated several recordkeeping rules
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Negligently misappropriated (stole) client funds
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Johnny!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2019), Johnny practices at 311 White Horse Avenue in Trenton, New Jersey.
