Judge Marquis Jones of Toms River, NJ; drunk, pervert, liar

Unfortunately, former Gov. Jon Corzine was duped into appointing Marquis Jones to a judgeship in 2008 despite the fact that he wasn’t qualified for such a position.

In January 2012, the New Jersey Judicial Conduct Committee filed misconduct charges against Judge Marquis Jones.

In December 2010 Jones attended party hosted by the Ocean County chapter of the Probation Association of New Jersey. While at the party, Marquis de Sade found it acceptable to grope several women. He was also accused of uttering sexually suggestive remarks to the female probation officers.

Judge Jones’ Hyperbolic (BS) Defense

In a lame effort at levity, Marquis the Comic said he “does not have any recall of inappropriately touching anyone or making inappropriate comments.” The comedian went on to say if his conduct was inappropriate, it was perhaps the result of having too much to drink, in the Holiday spirit.”

The most laughable defense put forth by Marquis was his claim that he “has taken steps, both before and after this event, to see to it that such conduct will never happen again.” (Asbury Park Press, Michelle Sahn)

Did ya get that Boyz and Girls? The Comic claims he took steps “before” the party to assure that he wouldn’t sexually molest women guests. If true, which it clearly isn’t, then the steps he took obviously didn’t work, right?

This comical admission should suffice in finding this buffoon guilty. Moreover, the Judicial Commission should recommend that he Marquis be permanently removed from the bench.

And lastly, as further evidence that Judicial Misfits are held to a lower standard of conduct then everyone else in New Jersey, the Marquis de Sade was never criminally charged with sexual assault.
