Attorney Baldev Ghag of British Columbia, CAN; tax cheat, repeater

The Law Society of British Columbia presented Baldev S. Ghag with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of British Columbia School of Law.

The British Columbia Law Society Disciplinary Counsel found Baldev guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Baldev’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Breached his undertaking to two lawyers by failing to discharge mortgages
• Breached undertaking to another lawyer by failing to pay outstanding property taxes

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Baldev by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license plus $1,500.00 in costs.

Baldev’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Evaded or attempted to evade payment of income taxes from 2005 thru 2008
• Failed to report taxable income of $1,284,254.81
• Evaded payment of $418,865.66 in income taxes
• Convicted of tax evasion in 2019

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Baldev by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the British Columbia Law Society Disciplinary Counsel.
