Attorney Glenn Laughlin of British Columbia, CAN; ethical goblin

The Law Society of British Columbia presented Glenn A. Laughlin with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of British Columbia School of Law.

The British Columbia Law Society Disciplinary Counsel found Glenn guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conflict of interest
  • Engaged in professional misconduct
  • Represent two or more clients involved in proposed sale of corporate stock
  • Knowingly acted in conflict against former family law client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Glenn by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and a $2,500 fine plus $1,500.00 in costs.

As one would suspect, Glenn fails to mention the aforementioned misconduct on his self-serving website at www.laughlinlaw.co.  Apparenlty, Glenn decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for fear it would limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. September 2019), Glenn practices with Laughlin & Company Law Corporation at 2850 Shaughnessy Street in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada.
