Attorney Pir Sahota of British Columbia, CAN; moronic slacker  

The Law Society of British Columbia presented Pir Indar Sahota with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from the University of British Columbia School of Law.

The British Columbia Law Society Disciplinary Counsel has charged Pir with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to honor one or more trust conditions imposed by opposing counsel regarding transfer of an interest in matrimonial property
• Failed to provide opposing counsel, within five business days of the registration of transfer documents, a copy of your letter to the lender enclosing payout monies
• Failed to provide opposing counsel, within five business days of the registration of transfer documents, a copy of your cheques in payment of the amount owing to the lender
• Failed to attend to the registration of the discharge of the mortgage registered against the property upon receipt of the discharge
• Failed to provide opposing counsel with details of the registration of the discharges in a timely way
• Failed to provide competent representation to client in matrimonial matter (moron)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to ensure that your contract conveyancer had followed your instructions to forward discharge and payout documents to opposing counsel
• Failed to register client mortgage as a first-ranking mortgage;
• Disbursed mortgage funds prior to all the funding conditions set out in the Credit Documents and the mortgage instructions having been satisfied or complied with
• Disbursed the mortgage funds prior to all other liens, mortgages or encumbrances being discharged
• Failed to provide the Credit Union with a state of title certificate showing full registration of the mortgage within 120 days of its submission for registration

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Pir by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel.
